It has grown into a highly renowned boutique interior design company. Known for quality bespoke custom made furniture and luxury residential and commercial projects with attention to detail. Principle interior designer Mark Alexander Wakeling is the heart and soul behind each perfected design.
Inspired from a young age, with a natural eye for detail and quality. Mark worked meticulously at his precision craft, building a vast knowledge and understanding of furniture, materials and construction. He was driven by passion to achieve the best result for his clientele. Over the years, designs and quality have been perfected learning no boundaries in bespoke furniture and interiors.
An award wining background in quality furniture craftsmanship and French polishing was the beginning of Timeless Interiors. Mark started his own business, after receiving recognition for quality. Celebrated with Apprentice of the year Victoria wide from his base in Prahran Melbourne, he won awards in 3 consecutive years.
During these years, Mark worked tirelessly in a small factory. Mark made new custom designed furniture, polished and re-stored antiques.
Timeless Timber Gallery was established by Mark Alexander. It made its name producing solid timber furniture, using time-honored traditional English and European methods with a focus on quality craftsmanship.Each item was individually designed by Mark, crafted and finished by Mark and a small team of European skilled craftsmen’s who shared a similar passion for quality. Items were made in the factory on the premise, displayed for sale on site in the showroom or delivered directly to clients’ homes.
The original gallery, initially located on the outskirts of Ballarat in Buningyong, quickly developed a reputation for beautiful, individually designed timber furniture of exceptional quality. Clientele would come from interstate and Victoria wide to secure a quality item from Mark at Timeless Timber Gallery.
Timeless timber gallery in Daylesford became a go-to destination for clients looking for quality furniture and interiors. Mark Alexander continued to grow as a designer and furniture maker and was soon incorporating custom made lounges and soft furnishings into the Timeless Timber Gallery portfolio.The Daylesford gallery allowed Mark to showcase his creatively and bespoke designs in colour and form. Converting the old Dayelsfordtheater into a gallery with multiple levels of furniture displayed and complete interior concepts showcased.80% of the work from the Daylesford gallery was provided to clients in Melbourne, with other cliental in Adelaide, Sydney and Queensland.
Complete interior design packages involving all rooms of the homes including paint schemes and decorating advice for discerning cliental, throughout Melbourne to suit their homes interiors.
Sadly the Daylesford gallery went through a significant loss after fire burnt down the gallery. Fire was caused by youths setting fire to the adjoining bakery, attempting to burn their footprint after breaking in for money. The business was rebuilt as TTG Timeless Interiors.
Mark’s natural flair for creating rooms with atmosphere, balance reflecting the personality of the client soon led to full interior fitouts and the conception of Timeless Interiors.Mark is now the creative director and principle interior design of Timeless Interiors.

With an established client base from Timeless Timber galleries, there was demand for bespoke furniture and individual tailored interiors by professional clientele. The business grew online in 2004 after Google became a significant contributor to business marketing in the online realm.
An extraordinary interior concept showroom and working design office has now been created by Mark and is constantly evolving. With rooms set-up in situ, across 3 levels in the current heritage 1854 Goldrush bank building,
The current concept showroom showcases a range of decadent European influenced interiors styles and presents a fine selection of unique and bespoke quality furniture items. Showroom is by appointment. Mark continues to service private clients with home consultations Australia wide. Often visiting homes in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane.
